For the month of March 2026, the studio has four “Students of the Month.” They are: Amelia Michael, Sanitra Stanley, Ahana Duggal, and Anjana Deepak. They tied for this award with a score of 30 points out of 30. Congratulations to all four for their hard work and dedication!
OhioMTA-Southwest Auditions Festival 2026
OhioMTA-Sothwest’s Auditions Festival was held March 8, 2026, at CMA, Cincinnati.
Four of Dr. Rua’s students participated, and here are the results:
Excellence Blue Ribbon (for beginner students with a score between 85-100): Akshara Baskar, Anjana Deepak, and Marcel Monnin.
Red Ribbon (for beginner students with a score between 70-84): Liam Johnson
Junior Festival and Honors Recital 2026, results
11 students from our studio participated in the Junior Festival 2026 at Mt. St. Joseph University on March 6 and 7.
The students that received an Unanimous Superior rating are: Akshara Baskar, Anjana Deepak, Ahana Duggal, Amelia Hossain, Mai Nguyen, Ameya Shyamraj, Curtis Grannan, Vivian Grannan, Akanksha Pallanti, and Michael Wagner.
The student that received an Excellent rating is: Anuhya Pallanti.
Special congratulations to Amelia Hossain, Akanksha Pallanti, and Michael Wagner for performing at the Gold Cup Honors Recital held on March 7 at 1:30 PM in the Music Auditorium at Mt. St. Joseph University’s Music Building.
