Piano Studio
Sachet Abeysinghe, 8 years old, played at the Semifinal of Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition, June 26, 2019. He performed Dussek’s Sonatina in G and Kabalevsy’s Rondo-Toccata.

Each month Dr. Rua chooses the student or students who are the best well-prepared for their lessons to be the “student of the month.”
For May 2019, Myra Sahay is the student of the month with a score of 39 points out of 40.
Myra is starting 4th grade this Fall at Symmes Elementary. She has been playing the piano for about a year, and she says she is enjoying piano more than she thought she would. In addition to piano, she likes swimming.
Colten Frentzel is the “student of the month” for the month of April 2019. This is the 3rd time he receives this studio award. He got a score of 40 points out of 40, perfect!
