5th Practice Competition Dr. Olga Rua Piano Studio

September 29-October 25, 2025

Every two years on odd years, Dr. Rua’s studio holds a Practice Competition.  The student with the “most practice” gets the title of “champion,” a medal, and a cash prize of $150.  Each student will receive a competition sheet. Keep track of the time practice by writing down in your sheet how many hours/minutes you practice per day, parents must initial each practice record each day to make it count.  The winner will be announced the week after the event is done. 

Each week during the competition there will be a Newsletter with the latest news and leaderboard.

Other Competitions

Please contact Dr. Rua if you are interested in other competitions that are designed for the advanced students capable of performing at the highest level. There are many events that are available to students who perform at this level. Here are a few local events that are popular: pre-collegiate Buckeye Auditions, Carmel Klavier International Competition, MTNA competition, Overture Awards, etc.
