Sachet Abeysinghe

Sachet is 9 years old and is a 3rd grader at Indian Hill Elementary school in Cincinnati, OH. He has been playing piano since he was 2 1/2 years old, currently taking lessons from Dr. Olga Rua of Cincinnati Music Academy. Sachet won gold medal and trophy at CCM-conducted Piano Auditions Festival (Ohio Music Teachers Association) in 2016 and 2017 by competing in Beginner and Late Intermediate-levels respectively. He competed in Tri-State Piano Concerto Competition in 2018 and won 2nd place in Elementary division. Sachet has won numerous other local and international competitions, Second Prize in 2017 The Art of piano competition of Great Composers International Music Competition, Trophy winner at the 2019 Practice to Prosper Assessment for piano, and “The 2018 Julia Bartles Concerto Competition Award” at the Concerto competition conducted by Northern Kentucky School of Music. In 2018, Sachet won Second place in Carmel Klavier International piano competition for Concerto Elementary category. Sachet loves to read books, computer programming to create games, and swimming.
