Student of the month May, 2020

Hello, I’m Mathias. So happy to be “Student of the Month”. I’m 13 years old, entering 8th grade next year. I’ve been playing piano for 6 years and am also learning drums and ukelele now. Thank you Dr. Rua!!

CMA Re-opening Plans

CMA will be reopening for in-person lessons. Dr. Rua Piano Studio will offer both in-person and online lessons starting Saturday June 6th. Students are not required to do in-person lessons and may continue doing lessons online. I know that many people are not ready to return.

For those who are returning we will be implementing several measures:

  • Students will be asked to wait in the parking lot until lessons are about to begin.
  • Waiting areas are not to be used and will have chairs removed.
  • Teachers should wear masks or face coverings while  in common areas at CMA and require students to do the same.
  • Individuals with health symptoms, regardless of cause, should not enter the building.
  • CMA staff and guests must adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times.

The building will be sanitized daily by a professional cleaning crew. Additionally, personal hygiene and disinfecting products will be placed at entrances.
